About

We are not your father's machine shop.

We believe in making the world better through design, engineering, and fabrication. Belfanti Machine Works is pioneering a new era of American manufacturing — putting design in motion with parts that are elegantly simple yet artfully complex.

Owner & Director of Engineering

Peter Belfanti

Pete spent 25+ years designing and engineering consumer products before opening the shop — at Nike, Logitech, and Benchmade. He's been on the buyer's side of the table: tight schedules, tighter tolerances, and suppliers who didn't read the print. Belfanti Machine Works is the shop he wanted to send parts to.

He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Oregon Institute of Technology and still reviews every drawing that comes through the door.

How we work

Create. Innovate. Customize.

01

Create

We start from the function. What does the part have to do, and what's the simplest way to make it do that well?

02

Innovate

Zero-point workholding, in-house fixtures, and modern CAM — so setups are faster and parts are repeatable.

03

Customize

One-off prototypes, bridge runs, or production. We fit the process to your program, not the other way around.

The shop

Made in Beaverton.

Belfanti Machine Works started [in YEAR] as an engineer's shop — a place to build parts the right way. It grew one machine and one customer at a time, and in 2026 moved into a dedicated 4,000 sq ft facility on Tualatin Valley Highway.

We're proud to make things in America, and prouder to make them well.
